miss me...

juz got back from work..hmm.. gonna miss cold rock when Im @ Khao Lak... heh..

u know...feelin kinda funny bout da khao lak trip... it's like a mixture of excitement..anticipation...yet a little worry..n of course anxiousness.. hmm.. i guess it's the fear of the unknown...bout not knowing how it will be..about how things will turn out..about what I will see.. it's overwhelming!

n guess what..it's 4 days away..n i haven even packed!! sheesh.

i still remember yeaaars ago when i was much younger...each time my family plans for a holiday overseas..even if it's just in nearby mysia (which probably is most of the time...) i will be reeealy excited..n we would all be packing away at least 1 week before...or smtimes even 2 weeks! haa.. thanks to my mum..who can think of things u ll need that wouldn even cross your mind...seriously.. she's one solid woman! preparation work can never go wrong with her around.. =)

yea as i was saying.. we will be really excited bout the trip... n bcos we often go for our mysia trips by coach.. me n my bro will be busy packing away stuff to entertain us for the 7 hour bus ride..

i remember we started off with games like snake-n-ladder, uno etc..then we realise it wasn workin much cos the board n starters keep falling off each time the bus jerks.. then... we went on to bringing "brick-games"(u guys still remember that? haa..) ... oh yea..n we never got sick of playing stupid games like "scissors,paper,stone"(the slapping version)...n other "ping-pong" stuff. kids..yes. we were.

as for music...my first few trips i remember...brought a walkman...n we had to share!..tat was way before this mp3 thingy came about....yup.. cassette tapes! haa..used to record nice songs from the radio man!

then..came discman.... n we still had to share to listen on the bus ride... haa.

now..there's mp3... we each have our own... =) duh.

time really flies... but im glad ive had wonderful moments ive shared with my family..and friends...that i ll never forget.. if fact im such a "photographic" person...snapshots of these moments can flash tru my mind a lot.. yup.. they "replay" in my mind... the exact motion...the exact surroundings... it's freaky at times..ha. but dunch tink im alone .. =)

i really miss being a kid.. innocent..n free.. less worries..less fear...maybe naive..but who cares... i miss me..

i found a new "hobby"...very therapeutic too...u should try it.. visualizing a thai massage.. haa. yea man. muscles aching..I totally miss a good massage.. 180 baht. heh.

oh yea. had a nice run today..wasn my long run...but totally had an endorphin-high in the midst of my run. damn shiok la. seldom get it..but today..juz suddenly..felt high n energised after half hour of the run.. felt like I could run another 20 k or smtg. haa. but obviously..my body was tired.. so ended up stopping after a while.. darn. wasted le..haa. but I feel good man!

sometimes.. I get quite envious when I see couples running tog. yea.. see a lotta that during my runs in the neighbourhood. haa. I tink it's nice to have company for that. I sorta came to a conclusion.. my "dream" guy? he's someone who can appreciate a good run.. someone who prob can motivate me to do a marathon together! haa. how cool. yea..dream on rite.. haa.I guess it ll be strange if he's one who thinks an hour run is crazy. .. it's the same..as how I tink gaming truout the night is nuts. haa. to each his/her own .. i suppose. =)

talking bout that... yes.. was a funny night.. for some strange reason ...I was a target for matchmaking... yea. sheesh right. well actually I think Im so used to being single..I can't imagine being with someone else now. lookin ard at my friends who r attached..... n trying to remember life being attached back then... I feel old..yea.. i dunno why too.
oh well, like my mum will say, Im too picky.. my "dream" guy 's so totally a dream. Actually I feel it doesn really matter.. all this talk bout listing the characteristics of ur "dream" partner..blah blah.. I believe in fate somehow.. when he or she's the one..u can't fight it. u ll know it. n in a way... u tend to be attracted to ppl with tat traits u look for. do we? hmm.. i tink it'll be almost impossible to find a guy who shares my frequency...the lame sense of humour. haa. too bad. yea. I can see myself in 40 yrs' time... will be one of those 60 yr old singles partying out at a senior citizen club.. maybe with a toy boy or 2.. haa. =P

oh yea..had dinner with parents n bro on sunday night.. finallY! tink was the 1st time since he was enlisted la. haa. according to my mum...he's changed a little.. for the better yea..... becoming a man I suppose..good for his sweetheart! hmm... I guess NS does change a person huh... in both ways yea..i still can't understand... why most ah bing ge...turn out to be pretty despo n hum sap..n vulgar too. sigh. issit a guy ting again?

oh yea. i PASSED 1 of my insurance exams. OMG! SHEESH! I wasnt supposed to. darn. oh well, anyway, there's still more to go..before I m supposed to start training. insurance...CAN U IMAGINE? me, as an financial adviser?? omg. how cool is tat.? =)
dunno la, im gonna tink bout it, ive a few other plans in mind though, with regards to job wise. but prob get into it, after Im back from Khao Lak =)

damn tired...for the last few days in a row...was back no earlier than 3am after work....slept @ 5..n now I feel like an 80 yr old lady. sheesh.

gonna go for a voluntary teaching project..for A month. =) hee, wonder if there's internet so I can update u guys bout it.. it's gonna be lovely..
it's @ an orphanage .. will be teaching english to the little dearies.. so excited! =)
it's my first oversea "community service" experience le...I know nowadays almost all schools have lots of these projects for the students... but during MY DAYS... most were juz in spore.. I din even get to go oversea for any sch thingy.. damn.

....sigh, think im gonna fail my insurance exam... 2 more days to paper1... haven even finish half the text... it's the first time Im so unprepared for an exam.... remember the old days.. I m the super kiasu type.. very kan chiong..a month before the exam, Ill start preparing n planning le.. haa, wat to do, not very smart ppl must plan properly...not like some of my peers...the last minute chiong also can get 70 n above type... sheesh. always makes me feel damn stupid.
