ooo, been some time since my last post.. what ive been up to these days? working lor.. yea. where?
not surprisingly to many, in fnb still.. haa yea a restaurant @ suntec.. =) I dunno why.but I just enjoy these jobs..

yea dun ask me bout when Im getting a "proper job"..honestly ..Im very very tired of being asked tat. it just makes me feel pathetic.. issit so impossible tat someone wans to do what he/she enjoys..n chooses not to do smtg everybody approves but himself, hates everything about it. at least for the moment ..
yea many ppl say "smtimes u just dun get to choose wat u want.." I tink otherwise sometimes.. wats the point of working your ass off in someplace when u dun even enjoy a bit of it. n practically no job satisfaction...

fine..money's a damn important factor.. everyone wans a job tat pays damn well n a status tat everyone admires.. hate it tat it's so damn important in this country.. in this society. sux.
tat's why I can never feel Im good enough ..until I find a high pay job that justify my stupid "degree" status. I swear if I could turn back time.. Im not gonna take a degree.. so I can stop feeling guilty about this whole thing. sigh.
sometimes I just totally feel like Ive got a "L" for loser on my forehead.

but other than tat...work's been fun.. feel totally wonderful when I see customers enjoying their meal n promises to return .. bcos of the good experience... be it the food, the reco, the service =)

ANYWAYS...beside working n trying to work my life out.. (what's new...) , life's not too bad la. xcept parents back frm holiday... so freedom's gone again. sheesh. to think I was having quite a good time the past few days. =P

oh yea, attended my bro's grad..time seriously flies.. I still remember when we were both in primary school n were kinda the hoggers of the hopscotch area... blahblah..n wala..he's gotten himself a diploma n a damn impressive CCA record....proud of him. n ...in a month plus time... he's gonna get enlisted...wohoo.. BE A MAN! =) I hope..

ah well, watching OCean 11 on tv now.. I so wanna watch Ocean 13 la..n Shrek 3....but ..no $$. sobz.. soon ba.

feeling the "post-holiday" blues..I wanna go on a holiday again!!! haa =P

nywayz.. I forgot to mention ...Patong Beach was sooooo... ...angmohish n naked..bleh..average attire was bikins n trunks or surf shorts... hunks were EVERYWHERE.... babes were littering the place.. sheesh... tanning naked... blah blah.. lotsa babes tanning nude...BUT no guy was nude...damn. looked around but NO... sigh. good for my bro.. I lugi le. =P *grinz*

talkin bout naked.. today was a damn hot day.. scorching hot.. to the extent tat...I saw a guy sitting in the bus...half-naked.. a guy in his 30s or smtg. reading newspapers...... is that legal? hmmz.. me n the peepz ard were staring @ one another n wondering wat the heck was going on.. haa

honestly, I kinda miss the thai peepz.. there's this comfy feeling I get everytime I go to thailand...be it bangkok, krabi , phuket... the thais r just so welcoming.. n make me feel at home.. spore...far frm it.. maybe not so much in Bangkok since the plc 's kinda busy too...but in krabi n phuket.. the locals are just so hospitable..n polite...

it's a total different attitude frm those I get when I go to other countries... wun say where..but yea. even here in spore.. I think we ve got ALOT to learn frm the thais. Peace.

Patong Patong....

heyo!
just returned from Phuket this morning...eloped.. =) with a prince charming (I wish!)..haa.
first time there...though was a good experience...but honestly prefer Krabi much much more..
why? more peaceful..less commercialised..prices were lower too...
stayed @ patong...the famous "clubbing" n partying beach in Phuket..din really like the place...was totally filled with caucasians..many looking for "company"...escorts..etc. not exactly a very "innocent" place le.. sheesh .haa
everything's more exp. than in Krabi..hotel etc.
well..we din manage to find a affordable guesthouse..nice peepz.. 500baht a nite..tat's bout 20+ sing. basic bed,bathroom,tv..no swimming pool la. just a mini inn type. but clean! =)

first day was kinda crap but fun la..wanted to check out nearby Karon Beach instead of Patong (thinking it mite be less infested with tourists...) but the plc was kinda dead..most motels were closed cos it's the low season now..(raining!)
then..my stupid idea of walking to Patong from there...cos I tot it was within walking distance..
(it seemed pretty close to each other on the map...) ...tell u..tat was like the stupidest idea...
the map din tell the hill we had to cross..
me n bro were walking like mad ard Karon..n up n down the hill to Patong.. IN THE RAIN..think we covered more than 15k...walked n walked for bout an hour plus.. n harrased by "taxi" drivers touting every few minutes.... (cost 500baht -20bucks for taxi!)

THANK GOD a police car stopped by while we were halfway @ up the stupid hill.. they actually offered us a ride to Patong.. honestly...haf a feeling they expected some tips$$ or smtg..but we din give la. haa. tink they looked pretty disappointed though. anyways..was really nice of them to give a lift..if not..tink I mite haf rolled down the hill somewhere.... =P

yea..daily dinner was @ the same roadside hawker..very friendly n polite...highly reco them.. a couple selling various local dishes. pad thai, fried rice etc. tourists-friendly too..

oh yea, 2nd day was spent canoeing n island hopping with a whole big cruise of 30odd tourists (mainly caucasians...) check out the pics.. went to this so called "James Bond Island" (filmed in the show..) went caving... blah blah. overall quite a fun day.. got tanned...black I mean..haa.

cos was kinda money "handicapped"...so decided to just spend the 3rd day roaming ard town on own... (those day tours etc were really $$$ lor..)
me n bro.. amused with ourselves being in various hypermarts truout the trip...daily shopping @ Carrefour..yes.. n this Big C hypermart blah blah..lotta shoping malls though.

oh yea.. went for MASSAGE ..waited like a yr for it.. finally! THAI MASSAGE dammit.. so shiok la..but sadly...only had enuff $$ for 1 nite.. sighs.

hmm...actually the whole trip was kinda relaxin la...cos with bro..so alotta lame crappin ard (u can see frm the pics..) .. n grumbling bout Krabi being a beter choice..haa.
oh yea..jsut on our way to the airport coming back...saw some caucasians fighting..punching one another... fierce siah. drunkards... along an infamous street...Bangla Road...(=P) lotta go go clubs etc. there la..

dAmn..holiday's over. sigh. money spent..time to earn for my next trip liao... hopefully wd be my Aus plan ba..

caught spidey today! not too bad.. wanted to know wat's the big deal bout it ya know..since everyone's like dyiing to watch it .. n wanted to know where the 300millon went to... apparently record setter now...beating King Kong!..I liked King Kong =) ...

probably went to the sand..lots of sand in the movie..haa.. the saaand man... oh ya..though Ive watched Spidey 1n2...only this time...suddenly realise Harry Osbourn (New Goblin) 's kinda cute..haa.. yea..James Franco..his name la..

ooo....was his eyes I fell in love with..haa...din really like his funny smile... (this photo's still not too bad..just some scenes in the movie....his smile was eww...) think it's his "cool" look...actually ...he reminds me of someone I know.. erm..ah forget bout tat..

din do much today le.. except a movie.. oh ya..after a month plus of not running n swimming.. I miss it so damn much.. went for a short run..n realised I suk... practically felt like Ive lost every bit of stamina.. sheesh.. gotta get it back again! hmmph.

labourers' labour day!

been quite a cool weekend.. sat was pretty family day.. yup, watched 2 movies with bro..sat n sun (heartache..$$) let's see..
Wild Hogs....watched for the sake of the stars...Tim Allen, John Trovalta, Martin Lawrence etc. Storyline kinda lame I thought...4 peepz going on a road trip... feel good movie..but dun tink worth anything more than 8 bucks..better still..still to pirated dvd..(ops.)

Fracture....all I could say is that...u NEED to follow the entire movie.. can't afford to fall asleep..lots of dialogue..n CHEEM dialogue...mind twisting.. lotsa hidden meaning behind words...kinda slow.. but if u fancy mysterious crime stuff.. u can go for it.. at the end of the movie..my brains were so drained... felt like my brain cells just did a marathon..(if u get wat I mean..) it's not the kind of movie Ill watch to destress though. =P but still..worth the money..it's Anthony Hopkins... period.

hmm..oh yes..saw these 2 trailers yest...Don't Look Back (some Malay horror movie..) n Alonee..
they seemed darn good lor. horror movies fan? think they r worth a shot. esp. if u have watched Shutter..(I thought it's one of the better horror movies since the last century man..)..
yup, the same producer...did this Alonee thingy..bout Siamese twins...if u ve seen the trailer..darn freaky can!!

the other malay horror..apparently based on true experiences..super freaky too. urgh. cdn't stand the sound effects etc.. (usually love horror movies...but haven watched for a long time cos most of them are just so cliche.. ) mite catch one of these... hmm. =0)

anyone been to phuket? how issit? any tips? tinking of going .. yea.. miss krabi.. but wanna check out phuket..onli bad thing I ve heard is ..tat place is full of tourists..."caucasians" so beet "dangerous"..haa oh well..

Labour Day!.. everywhere's prob gonna be darn crowded.. hmm..dunno wat to do tomorrow.. *ponders* anyways..happy Labour Day peepz..
