still hooked on Cussler...

ok..just to update.. sat was my "last" day @ cold rock...super emo.. partners @ work that day were really sweet... the hugs n warm farewell... *aww* thanks sweeties..will definitely miss u all!

n as for what the hell im gonna do now that im outta cold rock... im actually undergoing a training for a direct mktg company. part of it involving going for field sales... knocking on doors n talking to peepz.. handling rejects n "attitudes"... not easy k.
today was my first day, followed my trainer...tried a little.. it's fun but it's scary. haa. after a while.. u kinda dun feel that upset if u get doors closed on u.
hmm.. anyway, will update more once i understand better bout the career path of the new job etc. cos no, im not planning to knock on doors for the rest of my life.

see my pathetic feet? blisters (bout 8 altogether...) n all.. after a week of walking in heels n shoes that i usually don't wear... poor feet. sobz. hurts ya know.

oh yea, i mentioned bout the wonderman who got me hooked on his books right.. Clive Cussler..yea.

im so damn impressed with myself.. i actually finished 7 of his books in a month plus... (that's amazing for someone like me who never was into adventure stuff...)

currently on Vixen 03 (the orange one) about an ultra-secret flight which was lost at sea..n cos it was carrying cannisters of the most lethal substance ...when it was found 34 yrs later.. a nightmare began..
just finished Serpent (far right). damn good too. learnt some history stuff, bout Christopher Colombus etc.

i guess what got me hooked to his stuff is not just the thrill n adventure, but the fact that it involves a lot of historical events n really widens ur general knowledge.. i got to know more about guns.. airplanes.. fighters.. ships. etc.
i honestly think most guys would be interested in his works. n besides this is not a man who's merely talking pure fiction or make-believe.. but being the guy who leads expeditions to search for famous shipwrecks, he writes his stories based on a lot of true events n wide experiences.
when u read his books... u will get what i mean. THIS GUY REALLY KNOWS HIS STUFF.
honestly, go to the library. pick up one of his books. i guarantee u will enjoy it even if u dun normally read adventure stuff.
i reco. Polar Shift, Dark Watch, White Death and Serpent.
once again, to know more bout him,
check this out.
